Discovery & eligibility
- Feed (public): discoverable by #hashtag or @mention (tagging the authorised Instagram Business account)
- Hashtag recency: posts must have been published in the last 24 hours
- Stories (owned): photo/video Stories from the authorised Instagram Business account, posted within the last 24 hours
Permissions & rights for Instagram (quick reference)
- Embed/display in an Amondo feed (public posts): No additional permission required.
- Stories/Reels/IGTV not owned by you: Explicit permission from the creator is required.
- Create derivatives (e.g., cut into social asset): Explicit permission required.
- Repost to your brand’s Instagram: Typically no additional permission when using Instagram’s native repost/share features; for downloaded/re-uploaded content, get explicit permission.

API notes & limits
- Public content only; private/restricted posts are not accessible.
- Hashtag search surfaces recent media (hence the 24h recency requirement for reliable capture).
- Stories are time-bound (24h) and require ownership (authorised Instagram Business account) unless explicit creator permission is obtained.
